Welcome to Kita Pippi Langstrumpf! Our centre is located in Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel and offers children a safe space to explore, play and learn. Surrounded by a diverse and vibrant neighbourhood, children experience new impressions and inspiration every day.
We care for children aged 2.7 to 6 years and place great value on respectful, appreciative support. We encourage each child individually and create an environment where they feel safe and can develop at their own pace.
Key facts
- Hours: 20–25 hours per week
- Area: Preschool / Kindergarten (ages 3–6)

What you can expect
- Care, education and support of children in the preschool / kindergarten group
- Planning and delivering projects and creative activities
- Close cooperation with parents, colleagues and the centre management
- Actively shaping our centre and contributing to ongoing development
- Public relations work and cooperation with external partners
- A child-centred approach and an appreciative view of each individual child
What we are looking for
- Completed qualification as an Educator (Erzieher:in) or SPA (Social Pedagogical Assistant), or a comparable qualification
- Team spirit, strong communication skills and flexibility
- Willingness to reflect on your professional attitude and practice
- Commitment, reliability and passion for working with children
- Empathy and the ability to respond to children individually
- Openness towards parent cooperation and parent meetings
What we offer
- Part-time position, 20–25 hours per week, starting as soon as possible
