Our Daycare – An Oasis in the Heart of Hamburg

In our daycare, we nurture our children’s curiosity, creativity, and social interaction. We look forward to growing together with them and experiencing the diversity of the Schanzenviertel!

Group Structure and Care

With a group size of a maximum of 18–20 children, we ensure individualized care. Our dedicated team promotes the holistic education of each child and places special emphasis on continuous care as well as time and attention. A sense of security and a favorable caregiver-to-child ratio are very important to us to enable each child to flourish.

History and Recognition

Our facility was opened in June 1993 at Juliusstraße 11 and has since established itself as a reliable partner in early childhood education. We are recognized as a provider of independent youth welfare in accordance with §75 SGB VIII – Child and Youth Welfare Act (Kinder- und Jugendhilfegesetz, KJHG) and are a member of the Soal umbrella organization („Alternativer Wohlfahrtsverband, LV Hamburg e.V.“). The association „Kita Pippi Langstrumpf e.V.“ is the operator of the facility.

Quality Development

A central component of our work is the quality development process “SoalQE©”. This process aims to make the processes and outcomes of our educational work transparent and to improve them sustainably. We have successfully completed the process with certification.

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
